Equine Assistance and Resources
Temporary hardships happen and I want to help you and your beloved horse(s) get through unexpected tough times together. There are a number of equine-serving programs in our community and I’ve compiled a list of resources to refer to if you have, or know of, a horse in need.
The Annie Project
Offering Dude and Guest Ranches a new solution for retiring horses, ensuring they avoid falling into unsafe hands. This is an amazing initiative founded by myself and Drifter’s Hearts of Hope.
United Horse Coalition
You can find information on this website for local safety net services that ensure support for both you and your horse while also providing resources for prospective horse owners.
Colorado Unwanted Horse Alliance
Resources and information for horse owners as well as equine professionals and horse rescues. CUHA provides a couple of hay banks around different regions of Colorado that provide hay for horse owners that are temporarily struggling financially.
Merck Manual APP
Veterinary manual for your mobile phone which is available in the APP store. This app has information on everything from medication doses and uses to nutrition and health disorder information. It’s a pretty cool tool!
